What we collect

When you book or write to us we collect your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country of residence, tour language, the notes you choose to give us (for example dietary needs) and the details of your booking. Payment data is handled by Mercado Pago or PayPal; we receive only the payment status and a transaction reference.

Why we use it

• To confirm and operate your tour, and to contact you before and on the day.
• To process payments, refunds and accounting obligations.
• To answer your messages.
• To tell you when a tour you asked about opens for booking, only if you ask for it.

We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Only with the people and providers needed to run your booking: your guide, the venue or operator of the experience when needed (for example the diving school), our payment providers (Mercado Pago, PayPal) and our email and hosting providers.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Contact messages and “notify me” requests are deleted within 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to originalchiletours@gmail.com. We apply Chilean data protection law (Ley 19.628 and its reforms) and, for travellers in the European Union, the GDPR principles.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We store your preferred display currency in your browser so it stays selected between pages.
