1. Who we are

Original Chile is a tour operator based in Santiago, Chile, registered with Sernatur (Servicio Nacional de Turismo) under N° 108396. Contact: originalchiletours@gmail.com, WhatsApp +56 9 9923 9310.

2. Bookings

A booking is confirmed when payment is approved. You receive a confirmation email with your booking reference, date, start time, meeting point and the details of the experience. Please check that information and tell us about any error as soon as possible.

The person who books confirms that they are at least 18 years old and that the travellers meet the requirements shown on the tour page (age, fitness, certifications).

3. Prices and payment

Prices are per person, in Chilean pesos (CLP), and include what is listed under “What’s included”. Conversions to other currencies are approximate and for reference only. Card payments are processed by Mercado Pago in CLP. PayPal payments are charged in US dollars at the rate shown before payment. We never see or store your card details.

Prices for group-size tiers apply to the number of travellers in one booking.

4. Cancellations and changes

5. On the tour

Follow the instructions of the guide and of the certified operators, especially in adventure activities. The guide may exclude a participant who puts themselves or others at risk, or who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs before an activity that requires it; in that case no refund applies. Alcohol is served only to people aged 18 or over.

Itineraries may change on the day for reasons of safety, weather, traffic or venue opening hours. When a stop cannot be visited we replace it with an equivalent one when possible.

6. Third-party services

Some experiences include services provided by third parties (restaurants, museums, transport, certified adventure operators). Those providers operate under their own rules and insurance. Original Chile selects them with care and coordinates the experience.

7. Health, insurance and personal belongings

We recommend that you travel with medical and travel insurance. Tell us before the tour about any health condition, allergy or mobility need relevant to the activity. You are responsible for your personal belongings.

8. Liability

Original Chile is responsible for providing the services booked with due care. We are not responsible for events outside our reasonable control, such as natural events, strikes or decisions of the authorities. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under Chilean consumer protection law (Ley 19.496).

9. Photos

Guides may take photos during the tour and share them with you. We only use photos where you can be identified in our marketing if you agree.

10. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile. If something went wrong, write to us first so we can fix it. You may also contact SERNAC, Chile’s consumer protection service.
